Ben Wilson

Ben Wilson is a Material and Technical Artist in the games industry. He has over a decade of experience and has worked on a number of AAA titles, such as Wolfenstein 2: New Colossus, Doom Eternal and Tom Clancy’s: The Division.

Ben has spent many years working with Substance Designer and enjoys exploring new workflows and ideas.

Much of this, is creating robust and easy to use tools inside Designer, which extends to the Python API with plugin creation.

Ben engages the community by offering tutorials and mentorships to help fellow artists learn and grow inside Designer. He has also collaborated with Allegorithmic on their Substance Source Signature series as well as given various talks on his workflow and techniques.
